One shouldn't have to do that all the time, for example WhiteContextOnRightClick works on every session or continuous sessions of XYplorer.

If configured similarly, it'll work equally. Matter of choice.

Lets focus on the one that works identical to the WhiteSpaceOnWhite, I doubt people will want to load the script all the time, and get those bugs fixed !

Re: Using "Load" to bring up a sub menu
Ok.
Except that there are no bugs in my script. If you have noticed one, please let me know. Thus far we just had discussed user errors on your side.
Once you decided that it can be of help, I'll be glad to continue on this.

You can't wave your finger at me; why because you verified there are errors http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... 45#p126428.

Re: Using "Load" to bring up a sub menu
It error'ed because you did it wrong, Cookie. No way a script can perform right if the user doesn't know how to deal with it. Please see: you had difficulties with assigning a value to a variable, and I patiently (to the point I thought you were kidding on me!) provided instructions. Per se, there's nothing wrong going on there except that you didn't knew how to customize it. I may have failed to better explain you, but I'm sure it's clear I tried to - again and again and again. I have no problems on that, community knows that all I do here is exactly trying to make things the simple way. See my signature, check the dates.
I'm really sorry this is turning into a pointless discussion instead of a problem-solution thread. Anyway, I'm here to help. Sorry if I'm sounding a bit harsh - I'm just trying to guide this into a reasonable discussion. Sorry if I failed.

What should the menu look like, lets start with the end and work to the beginning. Can you show a screen shot of the end result ?SkyFrontier wrote:It error'ed because you did it wrong, Cookie. Re: Using "Load" to bring up a sub menu
Thanks, CM!
Please bear in mind that my approach is just a *method* whose only and sole function is to provide back and forth navigation to-from a menu and its submenus for organizing scripts into. Why? Because thus far it was a extremely painful process, especially when the amount of items and items' groups is considerable. My script originally has a sample of ~139 scripts (nothing of great interest: each one is a simple 'display a button's icon, copy its name into the clipboard if clicked'), but it can hold any well-formatted (well... it has a little degree of tolerance, in fact. Specially v2: last group tolerates a missing caption...) number of scripts.
That said, the main menu looks like of the 'TST' version I posted here looks like: When the option '2' is selected, it pops its respective submenu: -the big thing about it is the 'back' entry on top of it.
As the topic title asks for a way to load() pop a submenu... well, mission accomplished. What goes under it and what goes in which group, plus groups' names, captions, icons... it's up to you.

Re: Using "Load" to bring up a sub menu
Can you take all of the CTB menu items and place them within your toolbar, can you show a screen shot of that; that was my original idea !
Suppose I want; nested within a submenu with a sub-menu title of SetA can you show something of similar nature ?

Like mine's toolbooster and Ken's vTBs? (ie, done x2!)CookieMonster wrote:Can you take all of the CTB menu items and place them within your toolbar, can you show a screen shot of that; that was my original idea !
Menu > submenu > sub-submenu? It'll be a pain, but I guess it can be done. Zero flexibility, and I need to have all the structure beforehand, but I guess it can be.CookieMonster wrote:Suppose I want; nested within a submenu with a sub-menu title of SetA can you show something of similar nature ?![]()

No, No, No. Not Menu > Submenu > Submenu, strictly Menu > Submenu !

toolbooster: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=14287
Let's try another way: what do you want to shove under such menus, then?

Re: Using "Load" to bring up a sub menu
You see how this menu works; http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13494 add sub-menus and menu titles to that menu similar to what you see in the image, that's all, the concept is simple !SkyFrontier wrote:vTBs: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=13494

Got it.
Grouping menu items is a matter of personal taste, but I'll take a chance on it. Stay tuned.
