When I point to a file or directory name, a window pops up with file info. Handy I'm sure, sometimes, but it often obscures the whole file name and prevents me from selecting it.
How do I turn this off? Thanks, TC

eh, didn't know XY could do that without scripting. What does this info box look like?

Re: File info pop up
It's in portrait mode and it contains pretty much all the information about a file that I could imagine--probably 20 lines or more.

Re: File info pop up
Hi tcantrell, go to Tools | Configuration | Information | File Info Tips and check your setting for "Show info tips only when hovering over an icon" make sure that's checked. This way you'll only get the file info tip box come up when you hover over the icon and not when you hover over the filename itself. As you'll see you can adjust the delay and display time there as well. Below that you can establish what info you want displayed when you hover. Welcome. if you haven't been welcomed already.
