A minor point, but has anyone else noticed the slightly odd affect of the new XY flat icon especially when it's viewed at an angle from the taskbar. It's an optical illusion because of the lighter foreground color of the "X", being white versus the darker foreground color of the "Y", the background around the "X" especially at the v-shaped top of the "X" is a darker shade then else where. The illusion is more prevalent when viewed from certain angles for me when I view from the right side. No big deal, but I'd rather have the old one back. It may not be flat but it looked like a light was shining through "XY" which was kind of nice. Besides the later builds of Windows 10 are reversing that flat direction and going to a midway point.
The latest build of all the Windows 10 icons are available here in multi-size ico format. http://icons.bav0.com/builds/10147
