Dragging onto tree view

Post by JohnM »

Hi all,

If the tree view window has the horizontal scroll bar visible and I drag an item from the list view to a folder in the TV the TV window scrolls to the right (ie the view shifts to the left). Dragging the item back to the LV causes the TV scrolls once again.

Does anyone know if there is a setting that controls this scrolling because I'd like to turn it off? I've had a look around but I didn't find anything.

Cheers

Ok, I'm going to try this again because I am find this quite annoying.

To repro:
With the horizontal scrollbar visible in the TV, drag a file from the LV into the TV but don't let go. The TV will scroll to the left. Now drag it back to the LV and the TV will scroll to the left again. Keep doing this and TV keeps on scrolling to the left until the folder names being to scroll out of view.

Is this intended behaviour? Surely not. Is this a bug?

Can anyone else see this? Can it be turned off?

Normal behavior.

To scroll to the right, hover the left side.
To avoid scrolling, hover fast.
