"do you want to open or save this file"

When I select a file now I get a dialog box prompting; "do you want to open or save this file?" I think I must have changed a setting but can't find which. Most annoying. Anyone can tell me please how to fix this?

Hi and welcome to the club!

You are probably selecting an Office file while the Preview tab is open. Either close the Preview tab, or remove the file type from the previewed formats in Configuration | Previewed Formats.
