xyplorer crashed and tags lost

Hi,

I am completely new to xyplorer and purchased the licence today.

I am faced with the following situation and challenge:
- Ran the noninstall version off my external harddrive as I am intending to use the software with multiple devices
- Entered name and licence key, checked the "Save settings on exit" was ticked
- Did a few hours of tagging
- Left the computer for a bit
- Realized that xyplorer had crashed on return
- Re-ran the program which presented itself as the demo version again with no tags left.

Is there anyone who can indicate what I have done wrong? Is there any way I can retrieve the lost tags somewhere?

Sorry to hear that.

But apparently since you hadn't yet saved settings, nothing can be retrieved.

Why it crashed should be investigated.
