Wacky tree behavior w ver 15?

I'm a LONG time XYPlorer user and just installed version 15 on a new computer and either something is wrong with my computer or I'm crazy..

When I expand a network folder by clicking on the little "+" next to a folder name, the tree expands, then after about 1 second, snaps back closed again. This didn't happen with earlier versions that I've used.

Also, When I scroll the tree window up to the top, before I can get to the top, the window re-positions itself back to the bottom of the view of the tree (there are more folders than will fit inside the tree window at one time.

What am I doing?

does this still happen with the latest version?

I fiddled with some settings and I'm actually not sure what fixed it, but I think it one of the following:

"Refresh, Icons, History"
[Include Network Locations ] and [Refresh during file operations]

The odd thing is that I can't get it to misbehave again.
