:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Dragging files from a SmartPhone

Post by peterbonge »

When I connect my SmartPhone to the computer and open the file system via ActiveSync I'm able to drag files to the SmartPhone. But I'm not able to drag files from the SmartPhone to TrackerV3. I'm getting the message "Nothing to drop.".

Sorry, got no SmartPhone to test. So you have to live with it...

Perhaps when my contract is up (11 months, sorry) I can send in my O2 XDA Orbit for you to get to grips with this? It's only Windows Mobile 5, but it's a start no?
Used to update to the latest beta every day. Now I have children instead…

With Windows Vista and the "Windows Mobile Device Center" the situation has changed completely.

Windows XP with ActiveSync:
- Dropping one or more files from XYplorer to the device works.
- Dropping one or more files from the device to XYplorer doesn't work.

Windows Vista with the Windows Mobile Device Center:
- Dropping one or more files from XYplorer to the device doesn't work.
- Dropping one file from the device to XYplorer works.
- Dropping more than one file at once from the device to XYplorer doesn't work correctly. The files will be transfered, but with changed names and removed extensions.
