I've got several color filters set up and enabled to show various shades of green for files aged from "just created" thru "modified yesterday". This all works great on the file side view (list view I think it is called?). On the tree view showing the folder hierarchy, however, I'm having trouble understanding when it will color a folder/subtree with one of my greens, or when it won't. It seems almost random, and I'd like to understand it because having it work the way it seems like it should would be very helpful to me.
Also, the shade of green in the tree view doesn't seem to track with the green in the list view for folders. Can anybody help me understand how this works?
As an example, in the screenshot attachment, I'd think that:
(a) "Desk_Top" color in the tree view (light green) should track with the color of its child file "UltraEdit Stuff" in the list view (dark green)
(b) "Projects" color in the tree view (no coloring) should be some sort of green based upon child files in the list view (light green)
I've also attached a screenshot of my color filters.

Re: color filters tree view understanding
I can confirm that there's something odd happening on my current config as well, but unfortunately I can't reproduce on a fresh install

The Tree colors can be a bit behind. Press F4 (Refresh Tree) to re-synch.
