Original panels Return on Start Up?

Can anyone tell me how to make the same Left, Upper, & Lower panels to return to one's original panels?
What I mean here is that if you have ever used PowerDesk it has a feature you can select that says "Save Now"
and then when the program is first started all Panels will come up the same as you saved them. Like, say upper
right panel could show C:\ with it's sub directories . . . and the lower right panel will show C:\My Documents.

F9 > Click on "Startup & Exit" > Check "Save settings on exit"

OK, that is most probably not what you are looking for. Try reading about Tabsets - that might be it...
