Selecting search location

Using beta 0015, I want to have the selection of a folder on the tree populate the Location field when I do a file search. I cannot make this happen. I swear that it used to happen in the past.

What setting am I missing for this to happen? I tried checking and unchecking Selection Locations -- no effect.

check auto-sync (4th check below location field).

Auto-sync is a new feature that I caused to be created, as I wanted the "Location" to stay intact until I set it to another value, since I tend to want to search entire drive 99% of the time...and the way it worked before, I had to keep setting it back to "C:\" which was a nuisance.
