Icons on Catalog

Post by jacky »

Just a thought, but you mentioned somewhere that you might add a checkbox in Catalog's Items Properties window for application, instead of having to manuallu use the file:/// prefix

Well for the day you'll be working on that one, here's another little thing that I think coud be nice: the ability for one to manually set which icon to use (path to a file, index). Could be great to improve visual aid (I know there's the full color thing, but it's not really the same...) especially when all items are folders (and one don't wanna add some desktop.ini et all), share the same extensions, are all URLs or when they're all Visual Filters (which as of today simply don't get any icons)

Visual Filters get icons plus overlays now.

Icons from file is another story. Not now...

Haven't downloaded the latest beta yet, but does this mean that if you have messed around with the desktop.ini shiznaz you get the icon you've specified in the catalogue as well?
Used to update to the latest beta every day. Now I have children instead…
