Save *groups* of tabs or folders

It would be great to be able to save a "group" of folders (or tabs containing folders) and then recall them.

I've tried using the Configuration File but it's slow (you have to click on the option, open a file dialog, select the file, open it, wait for XY to close and reopen again).Would be nice to have a drop down list of the groups.

I find a lot of situations where I have "context' that I'm working in, that consists of 4 or 5 folders.

E.g., Lets say I'm updating our software's installation routine. I might have open:
-folder that contains the installer source files
-folder containing the editable files that get included on the CD with the installer file (.ini files that have version numbers, etc.)
-folder containing the compiled installer

Since I'm not aware of any current ability to do this, let me throw out an idea and see if that could provide a possible solution via an enhancement:

If one was able to select a category on the catalog, and then right-click to get context menu where one could open ALL folders/entries within that group in separate tabs, would that work? Actually a shift-click (open in new tab) on category should thus also be defined as same.

What happens to already open tabs? Close them?

No, don't do nothing to them. And the idea of another Catalog "type", Tab Container, was already on your mind during the first days on the Catalog, remember? :

The catalog's "open all.." feature does pretty much what I wanted. Thanks!

Having a catalog of Tabs might help at some point as well, but it seems that you're running the risk of your feature overwhelming the User Interface.

hmm.. I don't think it's here yet

Only thing I see is "Copy All Items in Category", but that doesn't quite do the same....

My mistake. only "copy all.." is in the context menu.

I acutally don't need the "open all" b/c I can just click on the individual catalog elements (folders) to view them.

Ah, the beauty of an software company is that you don't need many people. We only have one other permanent employee and she doesn't use these fancy productivity apps.
