Just the data is good for me as well. Some grouping could be done as long as it doesn't look to cluttered or confusing. PeterH's examples don't look bad as long as grouping doesn't extend the width too much it will defeat the purpose of what you are doing.

Too early :naughty: . Atleast point 1 is a big bug. Please see haven't checked the latest beta if it was fixed without any notes in the log.

If I disable "Show Thumbnails in Tiles view" - following findings
1. It shows icons in first columns, but nothing is displayed in non-first column
2. Icons are still drawn smaller and they don't respect the tiles size.

Will upload by tonight. 2-3 hours from now. Not everyone is as fast as you.

Steps to reproduce.
1. Uncheck Show thumbnails in tile view
2. In the tiles view, if 3 tiles fit in a row only the items in the first column show the icons - 1st, 4th, 7th. 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th items will not show the icons.

Further this isn't an issue with caching, as if you expand the name column so that less items can fit on a single row or reduce it to show more items, you can see icons appearing/dissappearing for the disappeared/appeared items

What property index is "focal length" in Win7? 236 or 237?

It's 237 here.

OS: Windows 7 Professional (Service Pack 1), 64-bit (6.1)

FYI: 238 is 35mm focal length.

My full list of properties is attached as a script.

PS: You once had compiled a nice listing of all those numbers in various Win versions. You don't have to have that list still? I lost my copy during upgrade to Win8 I fear... :(

Beautiful and unusual solution of the tiles views :appl:
Thank you!
------------
Question:
I set up the form for my convenience (in the three columns), retains the form list of commands - "Enable Folder View Settings".
Choose the command "Autosize the Columns Now (Ctrl + Numpad Add)" - here everything is OK.
Next, I want to bring back the original configured and saved views. I've tried the command: Restore Folder View; Grow Name Column; Shrink Name Column; again select Autosize Columns Now - it is impossible to return originally adjusted look (in the three columns).
How to revert to the previously configured and recorded mean?

1. Large tiles size 256 with Show thumbnails ticked off - Not all icons shown properly
Tiles View.gif
2. Show Thumbnails ticked and the icons go huge. The possible reason for this may be XY doesn't support PNG compressed icons.
