I'd agree to this definitely, as I wanted to add a new value to "Move/Copy/Bkup" list, and would have liked to be able to browse to locate it...yes, I realize this could also be done via other methods, such as by clipboard (which requires other prior action), but being able to get there directly from LM would be desirable and useful, I believe.surrender wrote:Also, after Richard's post, I thought maybe it would be useful to have a browse button in some of the LM windows too (like fav folder, move/copy/paste etc), for easy addition of paths. I say this because personally I have never typed-in any path manually.

Saw this over in Bug Reports, and thought it should be copied here:

Code: Select all
v5.60.0008 - 09.02.07 11:40
+ List Management: added icons and a Browse button to all lists
where applicable. A missing icon means either a location does not
exists, or the item is no location (but e.g. a search term).
The Browse button updates the currently selected list item. I was a bit surprised that Don had not posted a "Wish granted - see beta" reply here so thus this post to alert all to new feature available.

Yep, that Browse button is a very nice additionsurrender wrote:But I dont know if "browse" would fit the "favorite files" list, since one can browse only folders and not files. or maybe Don can do some magic to browse files too.
And I'm pretty sure this window ain't coming from XY but comes from API or something, and I've seen it used elsewhere and listing files aswell as folders, so it probably could be done here too.

I agree that a very similar window is used by other app's to select the file to be processed, so hopefully this ability may make it into XY as well.jacky wrote:And I'm pretty sure this window ain't coming from XY but comes from API or something, and I've seen it used elsewhere and listing files aswell as folders, so it probably could be done here too.
