Copy file (dup) to same folder: Easiest way via mouse?

Ok, y'all...sometimes I don't know the best way(s) to do a certain task...and here is one: I wanted to make a "Copy of xxxx.xxx" in the same folder as "xxxx.xxx"...Now in WE, I'd do a Copy followed by Paste...but as XY is better than that, I figured there must be a quick way to do same without using Clipboard...but I don't see it!

I see there is "move/copy/backup to" via context menu, but...the current tab is grayed out/unavailable in the "copy to" destination tabs! I can see that for "move to" as that is totally illogical, and likely same for "backup to"...but why is current folder not valid for "copy to"?

And if I try "Copy To" via Edit menu, I would need to have had previously added current folder to list to make selection easy, and as "browse" defaulted to "My Document" as starting location, which is totally unrelated to where I was.

So what am I missing?

Or in a touchpad world: File menu->Save Here As ---> Which is why I'd forgotten about it because I don't use File menu very often...it's likely one of my least used menus...hey, XY has SO many features, I can't keep track of all of them!

BTW, I'm now seeing "Info to Clipboard", "Rename Special", "Move/Copy.." as top three entries on File menu, instead of the "Enter" which used to be first on list...huh?

Always been like that. Mimicks the look of the list item's ctx menu, where XY's custom items are stacked on top of the Shell items.

Ok...I thought it was different based on sequence listed in Help file (and another place)...anyway...it does bring up a point: Given that order, would it make any sense to put "Save Here As" above "Open", such that it follows (and is much closer to) "Move/Copy/backup" and may be more easy to spot thusly?

The downside is that it makes Open and others a bit further down, but most of those functions tend to be single key op's and very frequently used via keybd, as compared to "Save here as", which (given that I misplaced it!) may not be as commonly used.

I think between Open and Delete would be more standard.

Possibly...It would be better than current slot, I think...My theory was that, since the non-standard context items are on top, and last one of those deals with a similar function, that having it next would make it more like an extension of that group...

Where it is presently, it (IMHO) gets visually mixed in with the Config functions and (at a quick glance or by newbie) may appear to be related to THAT instead of current file...

Addendum:The term "Save Here As" also would seem to imply that one is saving modified contents of file, instead of a modified name only...but the preview is read-only, so one really can't save it...is there a simple logical reason why this isn't called "Copy Here As" or similar that I'm not catching?

Back to this unanswered point: Could the current tab be made available via this context menu and then function the same way as "Save Here As" does now? Since common sense tells one that in order to make a copy within same folder as original, the copy must be under a modified name.

Save Here As works with the focused item only.

It is called Save because the S was still free as hotkey.
