Tagging Questions

I've been playing around with the trial before I decide to purchase but had a few questions about tagging:

If I click on a file and manually type in tag names on the tag tab in the info panel, they do not get added to the tag list. The manually added tags show up in the file tag list (for that specific file), but If I click the find my tags, it does not show. The manually added tag does not show in 'Edit Tag List' menu either. I have tried selecting add from the dropdown box and clicking apply - no luck. Is this working as intended or am I missing something?

Whether I type tags in manually or actually add them from the tag list (check box), the tags do not show up in the Tags column.

And did you save the tags after entering them (and applying them)?

Tags aren't saved automatically in the current instance (although you can let XY save them (or better: all current settings) on exit if you configure it).

File - Settings Special - * Save Tags

When I add tags via the info panel they show up immediately in the tag column on the list (this does happen even without View - Auto-Refresh ticked).

Open the config (F9), go to Information - Tags

is [x] Show tags in file list ticked?

If it's unticked, tags in the tag column won't show up...
