How to Set Dual Pane Location for Each Pane

As I was reading through the help manual and forum posts, there was reference in the forums to using Favorites to open a dual pane with each view set to a specific folder location. I could not find instructions how to make one favorite open in dual panes with each pane set to a specific folder. Is it possible, if so how?
