Raw View missing

Post by cwolter »

Hi,
since a few weeks Raw View window disappeared.
XYplorer_error.jpg
XYplorer_error.jpg (22.9 KiB) Viewed 1613 times
It happened very likely after some upgrade, but I didn't notice it immediately, so...
I tried various ways without success.
Can somebody give me a tip ?

TIA

Carlo

Thanks. Unfortunately I cannot reproduce it.

You seem to use the Windows Classic theme. This is apparently not existing anymore under Win8 so it's impossible for me to create the correct context.

Does it have an effect if you resize the window? Some flicker at least...?

Thank you,
at least it was not my fault :kidding:

Will you insert in some future fix release or should I tinker with mine ?

TIA

I will wait until I'm 100% sure that the recent changes in thumbnails are OK, then I will release a hot fix.

And thanks for reporting this! It's a miracle that this went undiscovered for so long. Obviously not many users are in classic mode AND use the raw view AND are committed enough to report the issue in the forum.

You're welcome !
First of all, I'm a developer, so I try always to think also wearing "the" other hat :)
Second, I use a lot the Raw View, with some caveats it's a really useful tool....

About your first observation, being a developer, I need to test and use programs on different platforms and OSes, so....

I take the occasion to thank you for this true gem of software.
I've shown it to plenty of colleagues, and earned their consideration for this.... a number of them bought it and nobody ever had to complain :appl:
