I believe highend wants this thread to be for submissions only and this thread will be the public list which he/moderators will update. (What a masochist! :appl: )

Thanks, TheQwerty.

This thread is not about all available scripts, this is for discussing how to present them.

I prefer the personal message otherwise this thread get's bloated by comments like:

Label for script <xyz> should be changed to: <abc>

Apart from that it's easier for me to keep track of already suggested scripts...

The "real" thread was updated: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=12509

@binocular222

Would you be so kind and send me possible labels / categories for your personal scripts (from your signature)?
They are the next ones on my list.

I was under the impression that this topic was for suggestions+ discussions and that other topic, a formatted, curated list of the suggestions minus the discussion...

Same here. Exactly how I understood the intro ... but hey, no big deal, what's important is that this thing got underway, without much fuss and preliminaries.

That's what I like about the whole XY experience: No beating around the bush, things are really happening in here. Every time I drop by it's like - whoa, hold on, you almost feel the G-forces sweeping you along.

Added the suggestions from binocular222 and FileHero.

Main thread is up to date, categorization is still missing.

since you have already listed XYplorer Messenger (based on AHK) I would suggest to also add

Title: XYplorer Messenger (based on AutoIt)
Description: Use AutoIt (3rd party software) to control XYplorer
Minimum requirements: XYplorer (any latest version), AutoIt v3
Link: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic. ... ger#p82229
Author: Marco (I think)
Labels: utility, autoit, 3rd party

The next step would be a good categorization :)

are u still working on the list?
if yes, what about "XYAHKLiveFilter - livefilter the filelist"? http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=12588

and are users allowed to suggest scripts they wrote themselves or only scripts from others (or only scripts from themselves)?

I'm not scanning the forum to "find" new scripts :) (and there weren't any categorization suggestions so far)
if yes, what about "XYAHKLiveFilter
Nobody suggested it so far. I can include it but it will (probably) be obsolete in about a month (Don will finish MTP support (only about 5% is missing) and after that code the live filter)
and are users allowed to suggest scripts they wrote themselves or only scripts from others (or only scripts from themselves)?
Ofc anybody can suggest any script regardless if it's his own or from somebody else :)

Probably, but even... Waiting that, it is a great bit of code. So I suggest you to add XYAHKLiveFilter.
And thank you for this thread.

Well done. :appl: Some assignments signal your tech-savvy mindset. Scripts like Mouse Gesture happen on the surface and not "Under the Hood" for a strictly user-oriented guy like me. Nor would I expect to find Contextual Help in this category, but much rather in "Tutorials, HowTo".

But that's not cut-and-dried, I wouldn't mind at all to see double listings. Many scripts fit several categories, such as Import Tagged Images which would also make sense in "Files & Folder, Tag Management.."

In any case, the overview has improved considerably, providing a much better, well .… overview.
