for example, i have 18 files selected in a folder with 83 folders/files (18 files are in the very beginning of the list)
i press 'Filter By Selection', and see only these 18 files for a while, then i press it again
now i see initial list with 83 folders/files but this time it is auto-scrolled to the end (with my 18 files still selected but not in view)
is there a setting to make that selected files stay in view?
by the way, 'Keep Focused Item In View After Resoting' is enabled. While 'Scroll To Top After Resorting' does not help - neither disabled nor enabled

Re: incorrect auto-scrolling
The last file you clicked to select gets focus (even if you scroll about), so that file is given focus back after toggling the filter. If that file happens to be at the bottom of file list, focus will travel to the bottom of file list.
To keep a file in view after this procedure, add it to selection as the last item.

the last file (i clicked to select) belongs to those 18 files so they certainly have to be in view after toggling the filter; but they are not

The last file you select has to be where you want the focus to be.
