It's also helpful after bringing up either list, all I need to do is type the 1st letter of the folder name to get to the beginning that letter group.

Another helpful right-click I noticed is on the list scroll bar. Page up, page down, top, bottom, etc. Looked in the new user guide and couldn't find it.

Any possibility of adding a 'Collapse All' command to this popup?
Reason for the request is my laptop doesn't have a numpad to be able to use the "/" shortcut key.
When I'm at my desk and using my external wireless keyboard it's not as bad since it does have a numpad. But still have to take my hand off the mouse, press the / then back to the mouse. It would just be quicker.

Make sense?
Thanks,

This a common Windows popup. You get it on many scrollbars. I cannot modify it.

Oh well.
Any possibility of adding it to the right-click tree window then?
Oops, mistakenly said list window before.

Try going to Configuration > General > Menus, Mouse, Safety

Enable Context Menu > Custom items in shell context menu.

Then click the 'Folder Tree...' button and ensure 'Expansion' is checked.

Perfect!!! Thank you very much TheQwerty.
When I searched the user guide for collapse all, I found the keyboard shortcuts. Missed this.

Cool--I was just trying to figure out how to remove folders from the mini tree, and there is a command in these prefs.

The larger icons brought back the tree for me. :) What's the rationale behind blue fonts vs black fonts in the folder list? It's never mixed. The list pops up with all folders in blue or black - depending on ... what?

You have the black folders (or it's subfolder(s)) open in some tab.

Often depends on my workload, how soon I find time to actually test what I asked for :|
Not to mention I got started on scripting, which has a built-in addiction of always thinking you're REALLY close to the solution, just one more thing to try or add, just one more parameter to look up, just one more ...

I like this color-hint for already open locations, although I would have preferred it the other way round - blue indicating open tabs, the black majority denoting the rest (better readability and more mainstream to have color pointing to special cases, while default color means... well ... defaults.) But it's not important.

What is important, however, are exactly these kinds of little helpers sprinkled all over XY. I am not talking billboard features in capital letters, but the myriads of small perks that you detect along the way, which make you rub your hands "Ha, isn't THAT another rattling smart idea". I am sucker for this sort of attention to details. 8)
