The destination you have specified does not exist

Post by David Johnson »

Yes it does exist!

I tried copying a folder from my hard disk root directory into the root directory of an external hard disk (WD My Book 3TB). How hard is that? I selected the folder I wanted to copy, hit Copy, then selected the root drive on the My Book, and hit Paste. Got this error message telling me that "The destination you have specified does not exist". Sorry, but it does. What is the problem? Have I just wasted $30 on this software?

What happens if you do exactly the same from inside Windows explorer?

Configuration - File Operations - File Operations
[ ] Use Custom Copy

Is this option checked or unchecked?

Under that option:
Select copy handler (drop down field)

Empty or any value in it?
