I wish tiles view mode in XYplorer looked like the one in Cubic Explorer.
In fact in general I wish XYplorer looked as Cubic Explorer and also had all the visual customizations that Cubic has.

for a file manager that looks like CubicExplorer, you'd better use CubicExplorer...shadi.lahham wrote:...In fact in general I wish XYplorer looked as Cubic Explorer and also had all the visual customizations that Cubic has. ...

Cubic explorer doesn't look like that. MY version of it does, others differ greatly. It offers a lot of interface customization options.SammaySarkar wrote:for a file manager that looks like CubicExplorer, you'd better use CubicExplorer...shadi.lahham wrote:...In fact in general I wish XYplorer looked as Cubic Explorer and also had all the visual customizations that Cubic has. ...
I do already use cubic as my file browser, except that:
1] Cubic Explorer development has slowed down to a crawl. It's just one developer and he doesn't sell it, just donations.
2] I just paid for a lifetime license for XYplorer, so hoping to get my money's worth at least

And while those two items may be true (and appreciate that you bought a lifetime XY!), each product developer has their own style and I really doubt you'll ever get Don to provide something that looks like CE so I suspect you'll have to get used to XY styling and adapt to it rather than trying to get XY adapted to fit your view of how it should look....it was the look of XY that sold me on it as I preferred it to WE.shadi.lahham wrote:Cubic explorer doesn't look like that. I've noticed that you've got a few threads related to this topic which is ok but I'm just cautioning you that some others who have wished to get XY to look like product "x" have been given the "then use 'x'" by Don at times.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
