One thing I miss a lot from other file managers I have used before and also file copiers like FastCopy is the ability to copy files with inclusion/exclusion filters. Of course you can simply go into a folder you want, flat view it, display only files with a certain pattern, and then rich copy it. Or you can go into a folder, search for a file pattern, and then filter it. Or... yeah you get the idea. But that's just too many steps!

I made this to solve that issue but there are limitations. Only folders can be selected and only 1 at a time. However, it does what I need it to do and I just think I should just share it and someone else can use it, modify it, or whatever.

You simply use the script as a CTB or as a catalog item, choose a folder from XYplorer's list, evoke the script, input the file pattern(s), and select destination. That's pretty much it. Much easier and quicker than the other methods.

Having the script as a downloadable attachment is fine and best way to avoid errors but if it's not too long, having a copy that can be read here directly can be an aid to those who are wanting to review something first or looking for coding ideas...just a thought to consider.

Can be posted with a smaller font as others have done...

Guiltily I was going to do that but I was actually curious to how many people will be downloading it and you only get a counter if you attach it as a file.

And that's a good reason to have as file -but- some may want to read it only so having code here (if not extremely long) with a smaller font also would be my suggestion.
