As the title says, with Outlook Drag&Drop, commas in the email subject are converted to spaces when dropped. Any chance of keeping them as commas?

I guess you have the problem in WE.

because this solution have you that problem!

All I could do is keep the commas when a single object is dropped. But when multi stuff is dropped at once, I have to use the data where the commas are lost. Your choice...

But I worry about the inconsistency for everyone else... Perhaps this could be a silent option?

Mind you, I tried it with Outlook and dragged multiple comma-having attachments onto XY and the commas were not removed!

So, how do you drag drop attachments?

Okay, here is where I got that attachments idea from -- from you:
"Select two or more attachments..."

Now, again my question: How do you select and drag attachments?

1. Click attachment in Outlook to select it
2. click and hold
3. drag to XY
4. release.

If there are multiple ones:

1. Click first attachment in Outlook to select it
2. hold SHIFT down
3. click last attachment in Outlook to select them all
4. click and hold
5. drag to XY
6. release.

But (and you *knew* this was coming), I've found another bug along the same lines! I've found that it strips out multiplication signs!

For instance, I had an email with the subject "Business Cards, 4×500" and the name when I had dragged and dropped was "2007-01-05_13-15, Business Cards, .msg"

4×500 <-- that isn't an x it's a × = ALT+(0,2,1,5). I'm going to assume that other characters like this will cause a similar problem. Any chance of a further fix?

Tried hard but cuold not repro this. The x is not the problem. What's your name template for outlook drops?

Should be fixed now. The source of the problem was the quoted-printable encoding of these higher ASCII characters in 7-bit emails in evil conjunction with a line break within the subject field of the message header! No problem for Donald...
