Darn, not much time today to dig deeper.
Anyway, thanks a lot.
Cheers,

doesn't add up the width: oh yes, I had planned that but it somehow got lost... will try to make it happennerdweed wrote:Ok, with Tree and Catalog in separate columns (List to the right). If I do a List Centered, depending upon settings either Tree or Catalog is moved to the Right respecting its width. However; the left most column doesn't release this width. Similarly, when both tree and column are moved to the same side, it doesn't add up the width, but divides it.
Nasty side-effect: Info Preview is no longer resizing the preview on resizing the IP panel
Yes, there is one bug. I saw it 2 minutes after upload (grindax wrote:Looking good. It's great to finally have this functionality in XY.![]()
Two notes:
When choosing 'List Centered', 'Tree and Catalog Stacked' should become greyed out.
Something strange is going on with the resizing of the Tree and the Catalog when switching the List into different positions, and when switching between stacked/unstacked for the Tree and Catalog. I can't figure out what rules are being applied, but I expect that the horizontal width of the 3 different things (Tree, Catalog, and Stacked Tree/Catalog) should be maintained when switching them from one side to the other. The horizontal size of the List should have the lowest priority compared to those other 3 things, and should just occupy whatever space is left over.

Did I get it right, that this perfection will also include that script in a native version with a little 'current layout' indicator icon (also available via a TB)? I think, especially new XYers would really benefit from direct access to a small set of selected "showcasing' out-of-the-box layouts.admin wrote:.....and also, since this is set and forget, it's not that bad to have them in a collapsing flyout.
BTW, this script will come handy soon...![]()
Code: Select all
$cs = listfolder("<xydata>\Layouts", "*.txt", 5); $cs = replace($cs, ".txt", ""); $c = popupmenu($cs); if ($c) {loadlayout($c)};
