There's already a thread about this (and Don implemented) but I cannot find it.
in List Management > Rename special, Recently opened fiels, ...
You can edit entries in a way that it always stick to the top of the drop down MRU list and not be replaced by new entries.
This way, I can add templates for Rename special & Regex rename, which appear in Rename special's MRU drop down, example:
+"★ Replace abc with xyz" abc/xyz

Hey, I think this is a cool idea. What about:
When an input dialog box is active (rename/regex rename/QNS...), press Up will show sticky MRU, press Down show normal recently used.
No more lookup for regex/QNS/VF/... syntax everytime!
