TAGS keep on disappearing

Hi

I applied several TAGS for several of my file but every next day only one TAG exists. Rest all disappear. It has happened to me more than once. I am using v14.00.0100

Has anyone seen this issue?

Did you save setting on exist?

What do you mean by save the settings? How do you do that?

Tools->Configuration->Startup & Exit->Save settings on exit
Check the box if unchecked.

I don't know where the problem is. I spent 1 hour tagging multiple files and when I opened it yesterday except for one tag everything was gone.

Try this:
Tag a few more items > File > Save settings
Use Notepad to open \XYplorer\Data\tag.dat
the newly tagged items should appear in this file

There is no Data Folder in "C:\Program Files\XYplorer\"

weird, there should be Data folder somewhere.
Try this:
Help > Various information >
App Data Path: xxxxxx
Tags Database: xxxxxx

what does XY says in that xxxxx?
