File Name Search

I'm impressed with the speed of the file name search. Does XYplorer maintain an index of file names or does it just do a raw search through the disk?

XY never index anything, just a raw search.
XY is fast but no way like indexed search (i.e: Voidtool's Everything which is instant result literally).
