I am evaluating XYplorer and so far think it's great except for one issue. I am running 64 bit Windows 8.1 and just installed 7Zip, 64 bit. It gets properly added to the context menu of Windows File Explorer but not to XYplorer. Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks

We recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once.

Re: Item missing from context menu
Can you check if your 7zip installation folder contains a file named 7-zip32.dll ?

Re: Item missing from context menu
I have 9.20, downloaded yesterday. I just checked their site again and that is the current version.
As a follow-up question, does this mean that Xyplorer has some issues on 64 bit systems?

Re: Item missing from context menu
No, this is a Windows incompatibility of apps with different bitness. Thank MS for it. Here is some background:
http://www.xyplorer.com/faq-topic.php?id=ctx64
Simply tick this to always show the 64-bit menu:
Configuration | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Show the 64-bit context menu

7-zips website: http://www.7-zip.org/ at the top, look to the right, there's a list of beta versions. Or,
7-zips SourceForge repo: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/files/7-Zip/

Re: Item missing from context menu
Thanks to all. I don't usually use betas, but selecting the Show the 64-bit context menu option seems to have resolved the problem.
Re: Item missing from context menu
I have been testing Xyplorer and am loving it so far. The only thing that has been annoying me is that my 7-Zip context menu item was not appearing. I know I could get to it show using the "Show 64-bit Context Menu" setting, but that was only partially satisfying since if I am working with a lot of archives files, it's too many extra clicks (extra clicks are bad, mkay?). I then tried switching to only showing the 64-bit menu, but then I was missing out on some of the XYplorer menu items (Rename Special is awesome). Sigh.
In principle, I don't like the idea of having to replace 64-bit programs with 32-bit versions when there are 64-bit versions available. After much frustration, I finally was able to get the 7-Zip item to show in the regular context menu by downloading the 7-Zip 9.22 64-bit beta version (thanks to this thread). I am happier now, but I am still missing a couple other menu items; however, they aren't as important as 7-Zip.
I agree that a 64-bit version would be nice, but after reading some threads here, I better understand why that's difficult (VB6 and all that).
Anyhow, thanks for a great program!
