Add another.

I don't think they looked bad, but their quality was not that important as their true value was in breaking up the sea of whiteness and text - a job they did extremely well.

I don't spend much time in the configuration dialog anymore. Doesn't bother me.

I have plenty of pretty icons where I'm looking 99.99% of the time thanks to PFI.

They were a help to people to quickly spot the desired item and quality wasn't that important as I could spot the icon quicker than reading text.

It's Don's baby and his decision on how to dress him or her but I also liked the bit of color and icons to break up the text only.
If it was because they were dull and drab, maybe someone here with icon creativity can help with some flashier ones.
Maybe that will help bring them back?????????

Based on no facts at all but solely the timing of their removal...

I had the thought that they were removed because Don could not find one he liked for "Custom Columns" and didn't enjoy wasting time searching for icons anymore. *shrugs*
