Please consider adding an "Apply" button to the many preference dialogs (where applicable).

I have a very vague memory about this topic being discussed before and the reason it wasn't possible was due to some basic architecture that would make it way too much effort to change for Don to consider doing it...
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.
