:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Repeatable Toolbar Causing Program Crash

Post by Bret Blakeslee »

I've had this problem for several versions with this specific laptop. This laptop is different because it's using Windows 7 and I don't use it that often. Every other computer I use XYplorer on (I have the occasional Linux machine) uses Windows XP SP3 and I never have this problem.

The problem is that whenever I try to do anything with the toolbar the program crashes. It happens whether I'm using the installed version or the stand-alone version and has happened on 12.8xxx..., 13.3xxx..., and 13.8xxx (the one I just downloaded). It happens on all of these so I'm pretty sure it's Windows 7 but I haven't got a clue what the problem is.

I'm going to keep beating on it since I thought of a couple of more things I could try but I don't hold out a lot of hope and I will let you know if I have any success.

Is that some kind of an answer. If I opened more than one thread on this I apologize. Unless I never got an answer.
