search features and multiple partitions

Post by giuliastar »

Hi
the search feature is amazing fast
really can'understand how can be so fast

but it's hart to select several partitions
for example i would search in V: W: E:
i know i could add manually
but could be added a faster ways to select the partitions

it's a shame, because with a so faster engine , it's boring see the the windows dialog to select the partitions or drives , or add manually

could be asked to consider such a future request?

thanks

You can do it like this:
1) Go to My Computer
2) In Find Files' "Name & Location" tab, check "Selected Locations"
3) Select your locations V: W: and E: from list and do the search like you normally do.
:)

This is the important checkbox

Then when you want to search multiple drives, go to Computer and select (CTRL-click) all the drives you want to scan.

You select the partitions you want in the List, simply that.
You can download the new translation from Help > Download language file...

Works alright here. Maybe the "Follow Folder Links" is the culprit?
