Thumbnails recreated over and over in Onedrive

Hi all
I have a directory in my OneDrive tree with thousands of pics and XY_plorer is re-creating constantly the whole set of thumbnails.
Important Note :
1) all pictures are also stored locally - option "always keep on this device is ON
2) the thumbnails are stored on a local drive (not in OneDrive)
I tried different thumbnails settings, but this does not prevent the recreation of the thumbnails.
What can I do ? It takes a lot of time to recreate them, XY_plorer seems stuck in this task until it stops or until you manually interrupt thumbnail re-creation with "esc".
Thanks in advance
Best regards
LG

Interesting!
1) I wonder why this did not come up earlier. There must be more users with thumbnails in a
OneDrive path.
2) Could it be related to Auto-Refresh? Try if it helps if you disable it (menu View | Auto-Refresh). (This is not intended as a solution, but rather as an initial step in the investigation.)
3) Look at my signature.

I'm glad to see the beta (32) v27.10.0705.
+ Thumbnail Cache: By default, the cache is automatically updated for each file whose
modified date has changed since the cache was written. You can now skip this service
by setting this tweak:
CacheIgnoreModified=1
Don, I'm not sure if you made that change concerning the MOD date strictly for this reported issue, but it could be most helpful in other situations as well. See
viewtopic.php?p=230997#p230997 After trips I'm frequently uploading images to Google Photos or Amazon Photos from various sources including camers, phones, and PCs and I'm also downloading them to diiferent computers (e.g., laptops). Unfortunately many of these transfers mess with the MOD date and if I forget to reset the dates to exif, I'll be looking at totaly unnecessary thumbnail regenerations.
When we know a image file has changed and want that reflected in the thumbnail database, we can rebuild the cache or rebuild specific selected files even when this new setting CacheIgnoreModified is set to "1".
Thanks.

Yep, manual rebuild is always possible regardless of this tweak. I already thought that tweak might be of use for other situations.

I cat't find occurence of the setting named "CacheIgnoreModified" in my XYplorer.ini file.
I use 64 bit verison 27.90.0041 . Should I revert to the 32 bit version ??
Thanks

LGS is asking about the new setting CacheIgnoreModified, which isn't in x64 version yet.

Oh yes. I'll upload that in a minute.
