Re: Audio Preview - Strange behaviour

Your screenshot does not show the latest beta version. Note that I tried a fix in v20.50.0115. Sorry again (my head's all over the place - boiler broken down last Friday, but anyway), guess what? You fixed it :appl: (for me at least). Not once has the volume lowered using this version. Thanks. :big...

What you are showing is the Preview Panel (Ctrl+F11), whereas I'm talking about the Preview Tab (F12). Nothing was changed here for a long time.
Ah sorry, I didn't even realize that Preview Tab was there.

I get the same situation. if panel is open or has been opened, then no volume lowering.

Re: Audio Preview - Strange behaviour

Does it look like this in the Preview Tab? No, not even close in my case. It's just a windows media player gui. Here are some screen shots. 1 just windows volume mixer open 2 now open xyplorer (no preview window) 3 now autoplay preview an mp3 (no preview window) volume lowers 4 now with preview win...

Re: Audio Preview - Strange behaviour

"It doesn't happen if the preview pane is open." Yes, can't make it happen at all. Tried many times. ... just open Not sure sure what you mean by that. or also used for the preview? I should say, that in order to try and make this problem go away, I went into windows 'add/remove windows features' a...

Re: Audio Preview - Strange behaviour

I've found out a sort of work around. It doesn't happen if the preview pane is open. It doesn't happen if the preview pane is closed, as long as the preview pane was open before. It doesn't happen if you just open and close the preview pane once after starting xyplorer. I suppose the simplest thing ...

Re: Audio Preview - Strange behaviour

apart from the license key  Sorry about that, didn't occur to me. I should have emailed to you instead. Nothing. All fine here. Thanks for trying anyway. I've done some further research and many others are having the dreaded automatic volume turn down problem. It seems it's to do with Realte...

Re: Audio Preview - Strange behaviour

I've tried 3 file types, mp3 wav and flac. It happens on mp3 and wav, but flacs fail to play at all (don't know why but thats a different problem). I've just tried it on a different laptop, same happens. It maybe that I have some unusual combination of audio preview settings in xyplorer, as it only ...

Audio Preview - Strange behaviour

Hi, I've been trying to get the Audio preview thing working, and it does generally apart from this problem. When previewing the first file it plays, but when I switch to the next file the volume suddenly lowers, then the next file and the volume lowers even more and so on until it got down to zero a...
