Search tab refreshing
Hi,
I see that every time that I move from a search results tab to another tab and back, the search starts again.
Is there a way to avoid that? I wonder what's the reason...
Thanks

Re: Source Code Viewer
If you really need a portable viewer, why not using one of the many free editors with Syntax highlighting, like AkelPad or PSPad. I prefer not to use an editor for viewing, but in the end I settled with notepad++ with a command line switch that allows opening in read-only. "C:\Tools\npp\notepa...

Source Code Viewer
Hi, I apologize if this has been asked, I tried searching. I'd like a viewer that displays code with syntax highlighting, that can be used from xyplorer. I couldn't find any external utility (I remember there were many years ago). I prefer portable. If anyone can give a recommendation I'd be very gr...

Re: Find text in preview
Weird, I posted a reply from home and can't see it at work... Because you answered here: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=11197&p=117142#p117142 How can I see the contents and the search term inside of it? You cannot, afaik. Not by using the script, that is. You'd have to ca...

Anyway, thanks for the answers.
I tried the script method. Installed a. ransack, ran the script, and I got in return a folder with the resulting files.
How can I see the contents and the search term inside of it?

Re: External search with Agent Ransack & FileLocator (Pro)
Hi, and thanks for the replies.
I installed Agent Ransack and the script.
When I search for something, I get a list (paper folder, I guess. Didn't try those yet), with the resulting files.
What should I do after that to visualize a file (and search inside it)?

Find text in preview
Hi,
I can't find this anywhere, so sorry if it was asked before. When I preview a text file, how can I find some text inside it?
To see where is the text that was found in a search... (or just in general, for that matter).
Thanks!

Re: Select found dupes
That's right, I downloaded the latest version and it did the trick.
Is there an auto-update option? With the rate of new versions that would be great.
Thanks for the quick replies

Select found dupes
Hi, When the program finds and display the duplicate files, I should be able to select the first or non-first file/s, according to the manual. Now, when I right-click on the "Dupes" column as instructed, but I only get a long menu without those options. I tried click on any of the files le...

It's been a few years since I tried the program. I don't know how I got to the website again, but it's just in time.
