Neither of the two methods I use to create a shortcut on the desktop work from XYplorer: 1. Right drag from the window to the desktop and select "create shortcut here" - that menu item does not exist when draging from XYplorer. 2. Using the clipboard: "copy" the file in XYplorer ...

I know why.
Vista is somehow seeing XYplorer as a "list" (a virtual folder)
e.g. C:\Users\<user>\Links in Windows Exlorer is a "list".
This is is a new type of file listing bought in in Vista.

Wrong hover icon when using drag and drop in Vista
When dragging a file from the desktop or from a windows explorer window into XYplorer the hover icon is a "create shortcut here" icon rather than the copy or move (+) or (-) icon one should see. The file copy/move operation behaves as expected it is just the icon that is wrong. copy/move w...

1. Shame. I can see why given the way it's implemented. But there is a dirty hack I think. The apply could exit the configuration dialog and then re-open the dialog at the same place. 2. Great 3.
