Re: How to replace ( and ) in a script?

Hello,

That exact script (rename s, "(epub)/") seems to be working for me when I try it from menu Scripting | Run Script. Where exactly are you trying it from?

Re: XY is my Bash

Great review!
Yeah, after 15 odd years of using XY (used to be called TrackerV3 Beta) I have seen this morph into a beast of a software.
Still amazes me how Don can continue to improve it.

Will come next year. Beginning of next year. :)
Wooho! Look forward to it. :)
And forgot to mention another upside to this. I can have two settings for day and night time and switch between these modes effortlessly.

Re: dark theme

I think this belongs here as it's about dark theme. I was wondering if there's an easy way for us to share our colors/themes with each other? Essentially, be able to import/export all "Colors and Styles" in the settings. Thanks. Yes, that would be nice. Though people might differ in what should be ...

Re: copies are made when pasting from Remote Desktop Connection

I think this could be a safety feature to prevent overwrite. If you want to overwrite (as per your configuration), then you may have to open the network location as a tab or in the other pane in the local XYplorer. I don't think having two XYplorers running on each end would help.

Re: copies are made when pasting from Remote Desktop Connection

Hi John,
Could you describe the exact steps you use to copy items from remote desktop to local desktop?
Example, you use XYplorer on both or just one?
how do you copy and paste? menu? ctrl+c? drag-drop?

This would help us replicate this issue or find a solution.

Ok, so this happened suddenly or happened one first use?

Try, file > restart without saving? is you haven't saved the settings yet.

Maybe you turned it off by mistake?

Re: donnatella: A Linux file manager

I don't know donnatella (not using Linux), but I know its author jacky (here from the forum), and I know its inspirational source: XYplorer. :D :cup: https://jjacky.com/2014-02-08-donnatella-a-brand-new-linux-file-manager/ :appl: Nice that jacky is bringing some inspiration from XY to Donna. honest...
