I'm sorry, for some reason I'm not getting notified about replies to my posts, so it's been almost a month now. I have downloaded the latest version and will see how it works.
Thanks,
James

Drag/drop problems
I am having problems with the drag and drop functionality stop working. I don't know what I do to make it stop working, I have found that closing and re-opening XYPlorer will get it to start working again. Does anybody know of any reason this might happen?

Re: Windows 8 Differences
Yes, it is on the toolbar. I should take the time to try all these things out, but work before play, but this IS work@!

Re: Windows 8 Differences
The Instant Color Filter is the solution. Thanks, admin and highend! I only wished I had brought this up a long time ago. This is going to make my days a lot simpler. I guess I could have just deleted XYPlorer altogether and set it up fresh, but this was more fun. I have something akin to "Seni...

Re: Windows 8 Differences
Left-dragging is a fundamental Windows feature. If left-dragging would not work with Windows 8 then the world as we know it would have ceased to exist. Tip: Try a reboot. I wasn't born yesterday. Maybe last week sometimes. I shut my systems off every night to prevent unwanted updates from Microsoft...

Re: Windows 8 Differences
So, I go to the Tools menu, choose Configuration, Colors and Styles, Color Filters, uncheck Enable Color Filters But that doesn't work. I do have trouble with left-dragging, nothing goes anywhere. I'm actually using 8.1 if that makes a difference. Probably some setting I've turned on or off somewher...

Windows 8 Differences
I know, shouldn't use Win 8, but... I have found that trying to left-drag anything doesn't work. I can live with that, as it is something I know how to handle--- right -drag everything, then choose copy/move What is harder is that some sort of "recently-used" or "recently-copied"...

Problem with folder display
I actually have two more questions so I will post 2 topics. This one has to do with the list view of a folder. I have the columns "Name", "ext", size, type and modified. Whenever I go to a listing, the Name column and sometimes the type will expand to cover half or 2/3 of the pan...

Folders and files highlighted in green
At some point recently, I have started to see various folders and files highlighted in green. I think it is some sort of "most recent" thing. How can I turn that off?

Include an <alt>-tab in script
How can I go about having a script perform the <alt>-<tab> key combination, which switches between other open programs, say XYPlorer and Firefox? In XYPlorer I can press alt-tab and it will switch to another program, but can I automate that as the last step in a script? Better still, can I tell XYPl...
