Can be whatever one wants to use it for, no strict rule ;) For example I use the Boxed Branches colors so I can very easilly & quickly know where in the Tree I am. Thanks for the explanation of what you use the colors for! I wouldn't have thought of those uses myself. But perhaps that is...

OK, I think I understand the opposing arguments now, but for the sake of clarity I'll try to explain my take on this matter. First of all, what is the intent of highlighting, boxing and favorites? Is it to remind oneself which folders one keeps interesting files in? Or which folders one should remem...

Concerning Color Filters for the tree I'm thinking about making a per-filter switch , e.g. ">t" (meaning: "apply in tree, too"). Would not clutter anything in config and give total control to the control freaks! I'm OK with that. I'd still prefer consistency between the tree vie...

I do beleive it should not be extended to the tree. Thoose new attribute filters should behave like current color filters do, so they should be LIST filters. The tree already has its colors (box, highlight, etc) and it might get messy to add (part of) the color filters there. Ok, it means hidden fo...

The encryption color filter works very nicely! However, the selected color only appears in the file list view (right side), not in the tree view (left side). Is this behavior intentional? I couldn't get colors in the tree view for other attributes either. This would be useful to indicate attributes ...

Thanks! That was fast. It's a nice product you have there. Best Explorer replacement I've tried so far. I might just have to buy it.

In the case of accidentally dropping a folder somewhere in the folder tree, it's only a matter of searching for the folder to find it again. Either by name or by creation date (if you don't remember the name). Using undo is of course more convenient if it can be implemented reliably. If not, the fil...

Color filter for encrypted files and folders

I'm currently trying out XYplorer and found that it's possible to designate colors to certain kinds of attributes (e.g. compressed files). Is this somehow possible to achieve for encrypted files as well? Isn't this merely an attribute in the file system also? I use the built-in encryption feature in...
