File Content Search doesn't work
I tried to use this for pdf and word files but it simply doesn't work contrary to what is advertised. I double checked to see if I made a mistake. It does work for txt files, but not for pdf, word and excel files ! While XYplorer is probably the best file explorer out there, this is a GLARING BUG WI...

Address box supporting search of history based on a string
This is similar to a browser. When I put a string inside the browser url box it shows a list of all urls with that string included from the history. Would be a very useful feature to have in XY. Of course if the string is C: then its useless (like saying www in the browser), but user can choose wise...

Option to disable tooltip when mouse on XY
Its very annoying sometimes when the tooltip just keeps popping up all the time showing file information as I run through the files in a directory to browse.
There should be an option to disable.

EASY Search for file/folder when you start typing with ALT
Presently, when you start typing, it tries to select the folder or file starting from the first alphabet if there is a match, provided that you type very fast. Normally max you can make use of is first 2 characters. It would be good to be able to locate files or folders that have a string in them (n...

Command prompt and running a batch file
When I open the command prompt from the XY it is very nice to have the path setup as the current directory. IT would be nice to have some variables setup too automatically. Basically upon opening the command prompt (it should automatically run a batch file and the variables specified in the batch fi...

Relative path (copy) similar to CTRL-P for absolute path
It would be nice to have a CTRL+* where * is some other letter, that would copy to the clipboard the path relative to another path (assuming its on the same drive) that can be set. By default this can be the XYplorer.exe file. This helps in filling the portable file associations for other portable a...

Report (specify number of levels)
It would be nice to be able to specify the number of levels to get the report for.
E.g. for tree structure, if we specify the number of levels or depth as 3, it would
go only 3 levels

Unable to create a copy of a folder
When I tried to copy a folder it complains
that another folder of the same name exists.
It should instead make a copy just as windows explore does.
E.g
MyFolder - Copy
