Re: Batch creation of tabs is not allowed
Just in case: you already can do that with script, which would open selected folders as new tabs, and use that in user button or defined hotkey.

Clone Date [button snippet]
This button is made solely for my workflow, which is heavily based on Modified date sorting = or more precisely "placing items in proper order one after other" (via changing their M date). If anybody finds this useful or would wish to modify - fell free. Actually, I'm sharing this mainly j...

Code: Select all
+ Customize Toolbar Dialog: After selecting "Remove All", the "End of List" pseudo
item is automatically added to the end of the list. This allows you to more easily
add buttons in the correct order.- 10 Dec 2025 18:13

Re: [Script] CTBToolTipTitle
The new line required a "¶ " (paragraph symbol followed by tab) and that result is seen in the XYplorer.ini file when accomplished by the script. Now only "<crlf>" is nessesary and the <crlf> is shown in the ini file. Oh, so it was more complex than mere <crlf>, didn't check the...

Re: [Script] CTBToolTipTitle
Pretty useful script!
I just wonder why direct use of <crlf> in name field doesn't allow same results = i actually tried before and thought there is no way for multiline tooltips.

Re: Colored Toolbar Separators
That said, for the screenshot above, the only CTB I'm using for that is ctb64 and then just duplicating it with ctrl+drag into the positions I want. WHAT!? I didn't know this was possible! Nice one! :ugeek: Me not knowing that is possible = casual; even the Dev not knowing that's possible = wait a ...

Re: Search with file name lists
Hello Is there a way to search for files in xyplorer via file lists? For example, there are 50 file names in the list and the corresponding files should then be searched for and listed in order to move or delete them. Is something like this possible with xyplorer or with another tool. I hope I expl...

Re: Auto close windows explorer upon opening folder
Just IMHO, that's too "user-specific" feature, but dev would say clearer. First of why not simply start your day with opening XY without even starting Explorer.(i use it like that for more than 10 years already) Yet if you definitely need this behaviour, i guess sripting can help you aroun...
