how does one attach screenshots? Just look a bit lower on the "Post Reply"...it's right under the normal text box...just browse to file and upload it...easy! Though as one with a smaller screen, I also suggest that any screenshots be 1024x768 or similar as huge ones aren't easily seen as ...

I am running windows 7 x64, and latest XYplorer. For whatever reason context sensitive menus in windows explorer and XYplorer are not similar. This FAQ explains why. As a workaround, I am adding adding some "open with" applications to the "SendTo folder". Today i added 2 x64 app...

Interesting trick I tripped over:
if I click on File | Restart without saving on each of my 2 open instances the new taskbar icons become merged! no idea why.

1. how can i limit the history of previously visited folders in XYplorer?
2. only remember history of current session (seems to be remembered between sessions)

i can try circumvent the issue by using some macro that will open default XYplorer and then load my preferred settings in ini=...

I learned something new, thanks.
I changed the ini file to
TitlebarTemplate=" <app> "
(now the titlebar says XYplorer only)
but it did not solve the problem (:

This might be associated with the fact that XYplorer titlebar lists in reverse order (open folder followed by application name followed by ini filename followed by version) and therefore appears as different application. (I haven't tried it but I am guessing that this reverse listing would complicat...

you are right, i haven't noticed this. just clicking the shortcut to XYplorer twice (no /ini=..) has no problem

I should add that each of the 2 instances is started from a link with /ini=xxx per the instructions i received from admin on how to start 2 instances...
so, why this would cause to different ID is beyond me. This is the ONLY application I have that does this.
