I wish the loop option for audio/video would also apply in the Preview Pane.
Hello. I’m not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but it behaves the same way in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Audio/Video preview: Play again Autoplay: checked In this case, audio and video only loop in the F12 - Info Panel - Preview Tab. In the Ctrl + F11 - Preview Pane, they play once and the...

Phew… thank goodness.
It was really hard to explain with my limited English.
Even with GPT’s translation help, I still struggled to convey the core idea.

Re: Performance issue with "Truncate filenames in the middle" option in XYplorer
Does that mean that in shorter paths (less than 130 chars), you don't have the same problem with files that still have 100 chars on average? What happens if you copy over such a folder where it happens into "C:\Tst", no speed problems anymore? This happens because filenames are truncated ...

Performance issue with "Truncate filenames in the middle" option in XYplorer
Environment: XYplorer v28.10.0201 (64-bit) Windows 11 25H2 Screen scale: 100% Issue: When the option Truncate filenames in the middle is enabled, XYplorer becomes noticeably slower. The more characters are truncated from filenames, the worse the performance gets. How to observe: Most noticeable in T...

Re: XYplorer64 TB v29.90.0020 - Strange Temporary File Appears on Desktop When Launching Files via XYplorer64 TB
So it's just another Win11 bug and has nothing to do with XY. It doesn’t matter whether XYplorer is running or not. Once this issue occurs, it persists until I reboot the system. Another user replied exact same issue while using the 64-bit version, which further supports the idea that it’s related ...

Re: XYplorer64 TB v29.90.0020 - Strange Temporary File Appears on Desktop When Launching Files via XYplorer64 TB
This is totally crazy. Can you see the size of that phantom file? Or maybe even the contents? It seems like the file gets deleted immediately after it's created. Since the Start menu only shows history, I assume it just means that a file with special characters was accessed. When I click on the fil...

Re: XYplorer64 TB v29.90.0020 - Strange Temporary File Appears on Desktop When Launching Files via XYplorer64 TB
So, in a fresh instance, when you launch a TXT file by double-clicking it in the list, this happens? yep. txt, jpg, mp4, glb, fbx, this kind of stuff. It doesn't necessarily have to be a default Windows app, but those are the fastest. I tested it by repeatedly opening a JPG file with the Windows 11...

Re: XYplorer64 TB v29.90.0020 - Strange Temporary File Appears on Desktop When Launching Files via XYplorer64 TB
Weird. Does it also happen with a fresh* instance? * Type fresh; into the Address Bar and press Enter. A new instance of XYplorer will open on top of your current instance. Note that your current configuration will not be overwritten by the "fresh" instance. Yes. Even when I run it as a f...

XYplorer64 TB v29.90.0020 - Strange Temporary File Appears on Desktop When Launching Files via XYplorer64 TB
Whenever I launch a file by clicking (regardless of the application), a strange file with random characters briefly appears on the desktop and then disappears. I noticed this behavior through the Windows 11 Start Menu, where the recently launched items show something unusual. At first, I didn’t know...

Re: Is there any plan for saving individual folder states automatically?
Wouldn't it be feasible to set a limit of 50 and then overwrite an older list?
The key is to focus on the current working folders rather than maintaining folders from a few months ago.
Well, Anyway. there goes my dream.
