XYplorerFree, the XYplorer Free Edition, is a free feature-limited version of XYplorer. No nags, no ads, no hassle. And no costs. You may use XYplorerFree for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Note that this is not some sort of trial version or bundled junk but a clean, fully working, and yet completely free file manager. There is only one catch: It won’t make coffee! Note that XYplorerFree is not as regularly updated as XYplorer.

  • Portability: XYplorer is a portable application. It doesn’t require any installation or changes to your system or registry.
  • Multilingual Support: The current Multilingual Support Version MLS 8.195 matches XYplorer 27.00.0400.
  • Digital Signature: To ensure origin and integrity of the download all executable files (.EXE files) are digitally signed by "Donald Lessau" (the author). Make sure to check the digital signature. Do not install or use a copy of XYplorer where the digital signature is missing or not valid.
  • Hash Values: The file XYFreeHash-17.40.0100.txt contains hash values of the above download packages.
  • How to Upgrade: Close any running instance of XYplorer, and install the new version over your current one. Done. Your settings are preserved.
