:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once.

Folder and shortcut thumbnails

Post by Chris Wood »

Display folders as thumbnails like Explorer (use the folder.* image in the folder). Preferably folder.png, or otherwise folder.jpg, or if neither of those exist folder.gif, otherwise folder.bmp... and if no folder.* image file exists, use some other image file in the folder.

A related bug is that shortcuts are also not displayed as thumbnails. This is a useful feature which can let you effectively prowse the same image in two different directories (while we eagerly await WinFS and the end of hierarchical filesystems).
test everything. hold on to the good.
