Showing the customized hotkeys
May I ask for a possibility to list the commands where I use customized (other than default) keyboard shortcuts?

Re: Showing the customized hotkeys
I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but if you go to Help | List all Commands, it will show you all the commands and shortcuts including how or if you modified those short cuts. I know it list everything so it's a bit overwhelming, but it does reflect your modifications and you can quickly search for the modified shortcut (e.g., if you can't recall how you've changed key "F12" type in "F12" and it will tell you).

Re: Showing the customized hotkeys
The OP wants an option to list subset of that list of only those items that are non-standard/default.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Thanks j_c, I kind of figured that, but I wanted to throw that out there just incase the OP or someone else for that matter didn't realize that the customized shortcuts do appear in the List of Commands and they're quite easy to find.j_c_hallgren wrote:The OP wants an option to list subset of that list of only those items that are non-standard/default.

I'm not that sure those CKS are all that easy to see via that method -- partially because the KS are not listed in a given single column but float at end of command...if that list had separate/distinct columns and there was a way to flag the truely custom KS via a "*" or such, then it'd be REAL easy to find them.klownboy wrote: but I wanted to throw that out there just incase the OP or someone else for that matter didn't realize that the customized shortcuts do appear in the List of Commands and they're quite easy to find.

Thanks, you do understand my issue.j_c_hallgren wrote:I'm not that sure those CKS are all that easy to see via that method -- partially because the KS are not listed in a given single column but float at end of command...if that list had separate/distinct columns and there was a way to flag the truely custom KS via a "*" or such, then it'd be REAL easy to find them.klownboy wrote: but I wanted to throw that out there just incase the OP or someone else for that matter didn't realize that the customized shortcuts do appear in the List of Commands and they're quite easy to find.
For example, when I post something on the forum and I would like to mention a KS, I would be happy to know, if it is really default one or my earlier creation. Now in many cases I just omit mentioning them. On the other hand, I just simply want to review them, which ones I don't use any more (and would be better to switch back to the default.)

Next beta:
Code: Select all
+ Menu Help | List All Commands: Now the default keyboard shortcuts are
shown as "(Default: ...)" wherever the currently assigned shortcuts differ
from the factory defaults.

Re: Showing the customized hotkeys
I would like the new way of showing, but the Default is missing. Only the ">> (Now)" can be seen.

Works here. When the default is missing then there is no default.

I think this makes the List of Commands difficult to read, and this certainly isn't information I care about 95% of the time.
Could it be limited to the CKS Cheat Sheets and CKS > Jump List of Commands?

Agreed. I would also show the command IDs only in CKS. Ok?TheQwerty wrote:I think this makes the List of Commands difficult to read, and this certainly isn't information I care about 95% of the time.
