DSLR Support in XYP

Post by jsc572 »

I am an amateur photographer, Windows Explorer sees my Nikon D90 DSLR as imaging/scanning device thus no support for it in XYP, I hate to use WinExp every time I transfer photos via USB cable, wish I could manage all attached devices in XYP like I did in Directory Opus. Is there a plan for XYP to support non-drive devices in coming releases?

There have been several threads on this matter, so please use search to find the appropriate discussions. As Don said, XYplorer will get GUID support when Win 7 features are implemented, so you'll be able to add that device yourself :)

Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

Yes, just added "Support for Non-Drive Devices" to the roadmap: http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=830
